Rhododendron close ups
A superb variety of colours on display in the detail of each flower. The petals, some of pastel shades-others with deep vibrant colours , all have honey guides which direct the visiting bees to the nectar from which they make honey. The central pistil consisting of the stigma, style and ovary is surrounded by a ring of stamens ending in anthers which hold the pollen.
I'm thinking of having some place mats and coasters printed with some of these photos. If you are interested in either please get in touch and I will explain about costs and timing.
